I know this is an older video, but i have a CS2520 that i have had for a few months with a 60 in belly mower. My lawn is hilly with what i call slight inclines. Do u notice if mowing in low range and the pedal pushed all the way that the tractor rpm drops when mowing up incline. Mine goes from 3000 rpm down to around 2400 rpm when holding pedal all the way down going uphill. Does your perform the same way. Seems like rpm wont stay at 3000 when mowing uphill. I am also not mowing thru very tall grass. Did u notice this when mowing?
You are the man. Thank you.

Finally one real video explaining this simple task with simple words. Everyone else saying , lock cams , remove followers ......wtf. This is the first time i work on this kind of engine , but i worked on many others and i saw so many videos explaining how i have to lock cams and remove followers that i started wondering, if maybe i am an idiot. Thank you mister for showing me that i am not and i dont need to do anything different than usual.

Awesome looking tractor. Thanks for the video
New sub, thanks for the video. I'm looking to get this exact machine, here in SC. I haven't talked to a dealership yet, but I'm wondering about that other dealership you spoke of. Wonder if it was in Anderson , or if it was a "5paw". Thanks
Stec equipment is the dealer I won’t buy from again. They are in anderson
I bought a CK 2620 last year and it has already been in for warranty work three times. Very disappointed in the quality. I’m done with Kioti, I will be selling it and getting either a Kubota or John Deere. I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. Hope you have better luck.
I’ve had way more issues out of higher cost brands than ive ever had with kioti or solis
I got a brush hog for mine today, I noticed the 3 point hitch won’t start picking it up till I get to like 7 or 8. Then I have to let it down to where I want it. Is that normal? Or should I be able to go from the ground up to like 3 or 4, or do you go past the setting and lower back down?
You have to adjust the rear arms where the 3 point is. It’s normally out of adjustment from the dealer
@@MrMelvinkennedy1 hmmm I’ll check it out tomorrow. Can you explain a little more what you mean? I don’t have any slack in the lift arms, it literally just won’t start moving till I get to 7 or 8. Should it lift up just going from say 1-4? Or do you lift it past where you want then let it down.
@@harleyguy932 I apologize I told you wrong. The adjustment would only help with tilt and side to side. Do you have a way to adjust at the bush hog?
@@harleyguy932 there is several holes in the arms of the 3 point. By attaching to certain holes it changes how soon it lifts and how high. I had to look it up myself

How do I line everything up to REMOVE old timing components?? I’m gonna be doing timing and head gaskets
@@TearItUpFixItTV if you removing the heads also the don’t worry about lining anything up until your going back together. Otherwise if it’s in good running condition line the crank up as showing in the pic and see where your marks are on the cams if it’s 180 out they will be the opposite of where they need to be but if the crank and cam marks line up like this video then your lined up
That slot on your dash just left of the steering wheel is where the cruise control lever is located. I'll bet you could add it at some point.
Yes that what i was told but haven’t looked into it yet. Hopefully so though
Hey brother. So I did a 5.4 3v timing job closed her up and she ran perfectly. I let it run for an hour or so and turned it off so I could start flushing the coolant. I could never get it to start again. It has spark, it has fuel pressure. Any ideas?
Spark/fuel pressure. That tells me your crank signal is fine, also fuel is good so next is compression, otherwise any codes?
Also just because you’re getting fuel to the rail doesn’t mean your injectors are firing. Make sure they not cutting out once your turning it over and they are priming. Things such as key/theft issues will cut the injectors to stop it from running

I have the same exact tractor same exact problem and they won't do one thing about it. They know it's a problem..... It's a defect from the factory and needs to be addressed before it destroys your whole pump in everything.
Yea it seemed half the plant staff said major problem and half said no problem, same with the dealership but no one would address the issue so I sold the tractor and went to Kioti in 2022. Looking good! Happy New Year to you and your family Melvin! See ya!
When I put my crankshaft to tdc the cams where totally off and my engine ran smooth as heck it's weird I just replaced a headgasket in my 4.6l 2v and reinstalled the heads, tried to turn the camshafts to the timing positions recommended and I feel valves hitting pistons so I don't force anything, the only thing I can think of is I need to take the heads back of to rotate the cams in place ?
It’s 3:30am here. When I get up in a few hours I will try to see what I can do to help you out. I may have to have a phone number I can call to do so but will try to help you figure out what’s going on
If your still having trouble I’m available just let me know
@MrMelvinkennedy1 just had a question if the crankshaft is at top dead center should the camshafts spin freely? And if so does the timing chain need to be connected to spin with the cams to avoid the valve to piston interference? Is that a 5 foot tiller? How does it handle it?
Nice looking rig. I’ve been trying to decide between Kubota and Kioti. I love the features and price point of kioti, over kubota. Plus I hate treadle peddle. TIA
@@cameronchisholm7192 it’s amazing, very powerful tractor as well. Way more pick up than the kubota offered. I will say in honesty that kubota is really the only “high brand” tractor I haven’t owned. As far as kioti though I haven’t had a single issue out of either of mine other than glow plug controller on my small kioti. The pickup weight, turning radius etc… seems to be second to none
@@cameronchisholm7192 also it is a 60 inch tiller
Another cool trick is to fill a pump sprayer with antifreeze and remove the black hose from your overflow tank and without the sprayer handle attached attach the hose from the sprayer in its place. As you pump the sprayer it will fill the system and purge the air as well as remove some debris and if you place the hose that went to the overflow in a clean bucket you can even recycle ♻️.

Pregunta cuando parte cadena dobla vavulas
Have you had any issues with leakdown of the 3-point hitch lift arms? With a box blade or tiller attached, and the engine running, the lift arms will leak down to where the implement hits the ground. My dealer knows it's not right and after 2+ months in the shop Kioti is now confessing it's a problem in 3rd party manufacturing.
I have not while engines running but it will leak down when not running which still shouldn’t happen in theory however these new equipped for backhoes tractors have certain valves that stay open for that reason at least im told. I had that issue with my 2019 massey ferguson gc1723eb while it was running and thats what i was told then. Front loader and implement would leak down a inch or 2 every 10 min or so
My new ck2620 doesn’t leak down off or on but its also not built for a backhoe that im aware of
@MrMelvinkennedy1 Melvin, I hadn't heard that explanation before about the Kioti tractor design allowing a leakdown for models designed to accept backhoes. I'm scratching my head as to why but I'm not at all tractor smart. Thanks for the reply!
